2019 Cooperative Compensation & Benefits Survey

General Information

Your organization is invited to participate in the 2019 Cooperative Compensation & Benefits Survey, conducted by Altura Consulting Group.

The survey covers management and operations positions commonly found at cooperatives across the United States as well as compensation and benefits information including general manager pay practices, planned pay adjustments, retirement plans, health insurance practices, and paid time off programs.  This year there is also a new section covering the structure and compensation of the Board of Directors.  Participating will ensure that your organization receives the most current and comprehensive information about today’s cooperative marketplace for employee compensation and benefits.

2019 Survey Schedule

  • January 14:  Survey participation form distributed (Data effective January 1, 2019)
  • February 15:  Survey participation deadline
  • By April 12:  Survey results distributed


  • $180 for Participants
  • $495 for Non-Participants
  • Participating now and deciding whether to purchase later is also an option

The objective of Altura’s survey reports and all methods and procedures used to produce the reports, is to provide maximum information value without disclosing any information that could be specifically associated with an individual survey participant.

All survey data submitted by participants for surveys conducted by Altura Consulting Group is provided on the basis that the data confidentiality of each participant will be fully protected at all times.

Protection of confidentiality extends to compensation data reported and to any kind of observation or form of analysis that could serve to identify a company with its data to an experienced person.

Our surveys are designed and administered in compliance with anti-trust guidelines.
